Royal Air Maroc in Marrakech: manage your flight and prepare your baggage

To prepare a Royal Air Maroc trip to Marrakech, start with your ticket information: fare, operating airline, any connections and baggage allowance. A booking sold under one brand is not enough to determine every flight's conditions. This guide brings together useful procedures checked on 1 October 2026, with particular attention to collecting the boarding pass when departing from Morocco.

View and adapt your booking

'Manage my booking' lets you, among other things, change contact details, add a Safar Flyer number and add services such as a seat, special meal or baggage. Depending on ticket conditions, it also lets you change the date, time, route or class. A fare difference may be added to any change fees. Check your email address and telephone number before departure to receive travel information.

RAM-MANAGE

Online check-in and counter visit

Royal Air Maroc states that online check-in is available from 48 hours to 2 hours before departure for eligible destinations and airports. It helps prepare the trip and choose a seat according to the options offered. For departure from Morocco, the airline expressly requires you to visit the counter to collect the boarding pass. In Marrakech, therefore do not infer from successful check-in that you can skip this visit. Also allow for baggage drop and observe your flight's deadlines.

Cabin allowance: separate the suitcase and accessory

On Royal Air Maroc flights covered by the published policy, the cabin suitcase may measure up to 55 × 40 × 25 cm: it may weigh 10 kg in Economy and 12 kg in Business. A separate accessory is permitted up to 2 kg and 40 × 30 × 15 cm, to be placed under the seat except for specific emergency exit instructions. If space is lacking, the suitcase may be sent to the hold. Therefore keep your documents and essential belongings in the easily accessible accessory.

Hold baggage really does depend on the fare

Do not assume a hold suitcase is automatically included. For domestic and Europe–Morocco flights, Royal Air Maroc's table distinguishes Economy tickets without baggage from those including one 23 kg piece. The Eco Essential fare does not include hold baggage on short- and medium-haul routes; other routes, classes or statuses have different allowances. The airline applies a piece allowance: one suitcase's weight cannot be freely offset against another's. Read the baggage line on your ticket before packing.

Prepare assistance and contact the right service

Request necessary assistance when booking, at least 48 hours before departure, through the official form, a Royal Air Maroc agency or the dedicated service. Describe your concrete needs to prepare support. The 'Contact us' page directs you to agencies, questions and complaints: select the appropriate country rather than using an unverified number. On arrival, if a suitcase is missing, report it immediately to Baggage Assistance and keep the case reference and useful receipts.
