Etihad Airways in Marrakech
For a journey to Marrakech sold by Etihad, examine the itinerary segment by segment. A codeshare flight is sold under one brand but operated by another airline. This distinction determines where to check in and whom to contact with a special request; it also avoids automatically applying Etihad rules to a partner journey.
Booking and changes
Manage Trip lets you find flights, booked services, contact details and available options. Check the fare for each direction of the journey: Etihad allows different fare types to be combined, and their conditions are not necessarily identical. If the ticket was purchased through an agency, contact it for a ticket change; some services remain available in Manage Trip. After a change, have seats, added baggage and assistance requests reconfirmed.

Etihad states that online check-in opens 30 hours before the flight when available. Some travellers or partner flights must use the counter. Check-in may also be completed without the pass being downloadable, particularly when a document needs checking or the digital format is not accepted. In that case, the counter completes the procedure. For a first flight departing from Marrakech operated by a partner, follow that operator's instructions rather than a general Etihad rule.

Etihad's calculator distinguishes cabin from hold baggage and takes the route into account. Its FAQ uses a piece-based system for travel to or from Morocco, while other destinations are handled by total weight. The Basic fare is explicitly excluded from the usual hold allowance: do not conclude that every Economy ticket includes two suitcases. Note the allowance actually shown on your ticket, then separately check cabin limits and any partner's conditions. Buy only the option corresponding to the relevant journey and passenger.

Notify Etihad of your assistance needs at least 48 hours before the flight, and also contact the partner airline when it is carrying you. For your own wheelchair, provide relevant specifications in advance, particularly the battery; approval may be required. The official help centre provides access to chat, contacts and baggage cases. Do not send medical documents or passport copies to an unverified contact: use the channel requested in your booking.
