Thomas Cook Airlines in Marrakech
Thomas Cook Airlines Limited suspended operations on 23 September 2019, according to the UK's Civil Aviation Authority. This guide therefore has a historical and practical purpose: it distinguishes the former airline from a trip booked today with the Thomas Cook brand, which describes itself as an online travel agency.
Understand a current ticket
A current booking with Thomas Cook does not mean that the former Thomas Cook Airlines operates the flight. Look at the airline, flight number and airline reference in the Flights section of your confirmation. Thomas Cook specifies that this reference differs from its own booking number. The airline reference is generally used on the carrier's website for check-in and options. For a trip to Marrakech, do not look for a former airline's counter simply because the seller has that name.
thomas-cook-airlines-3Check-in and baggage
Follow the rules of the airline actually operating the flight. Thomas Cook recommends consulting its website and also preparing return check-in, which may open during the holiday. Dates and procedures vary: an old Thomas Cook Airlines rule does not apply to a current flight by another operator. The Thomas Cook confirmation lets you find baggage purchased with the trip; options added directly with the airline may not appear on that invoice. Therefore keep both supporting documents and separately check the small bag, large cabin bag and hold baggage.

For a current holiday, contact the Thomas Cook service corresponding to your situation: before departure, during the holiday or after returning. For airport assistance or special equipment, also identify the operating airline and have transmission of the request confirmed. A historical page cannot provide a current allowance or guarantee handling of an old booking. If your question concerns the former airline, use the authority's information or your booking's contacts rather than automatically directing the complaint to the current seller.
