TAP Air Portugal in Marrakech: booking, check-in and baggage
For a stay in Marrakech with TAP Air Portugal, prepare outbound and return journeys from your booking: check every segment, connection and operating airline. The selected fare determines hold baggage in particular; European and Moroccan network rules should not be confused with those of a long-haul flight.

TAP states that online check-in opens 36 hours before boarding, reduced to 24 hours for flights from or to the United States. For Marrakech, the official page shows baggage drop opening three hours before departure and a check-in and baggage drop deadline one hour before. These are operational guidelines to recheck for your flight. Some airports require you to collect the boarding pass at the counter even after digital check-in: follow the message given in your booking.

TAP's Economy allowance includes a cabin suitcase up to 10 kg, limited to 55 × 40 × 25 cm, plus a personal item up to 2 kg and 40 × 30 × 15 cm. The small bag must fit under the seat. The permitted quantity varies for other classes and some destinations. If the cabin is full, a compliant suitcase may be carried free in the hold: keep documents, valuables, electronic devices and essential medication with you.

In TAP's Europe and Morocco flight table, Classic and Plus include one 23 kg piece, while Discount does not include checked baggage. Your ticket details and any status benefits must still be checked. The standard piece dimensions total 158 cm. Do not apply allowances published specifically for other African destinations to Morocco.
