Ryanair in Marrakech: booking, check-in and baggage
A Ryanair journey departing from Marrakech should be prepared before arrival at the airport: accessing the booking, online check-in, the boarding pass and choosing baggage are separate steps. Check each journey separately, particularly if your outbound and return flights do not use the same options. The information below was checked on 1 October 2026; instructions received for your flight should still be consulted before departure.
Find your booking and check your options
In your myRyanair account, open 'My Bookings' on the website or 'My trips' in the app, then select the relevant journey. Baggage is added through management of that booking. Reread the summary for each passenger and each journey before any purchase: an option valid outbound is not, on its own, proof that it appears on the return. Keep the updated itinerary sent after confirmation.

Without a reserved seat, check-in opens 24 hours before the flight and closes 2 hours before departure. Opening may differ with a reserved seat: check your booking's deadline. Complete this process before leaving your accommodation. Counter check-in may incur charges if you arrive without having checked in online; collecting a pass after check-in has already been completed is a different situation.

Ryanair's dedicated page currently allows the digital pass in its app when departing from Marrakech, listed among the Moroccan exceptions. A help centre FAQ still says a paper pass must be collected for all departures from Morocco: the official sources are not fully harmonised. For your flight, consult the app and received instructions; comply with any required document check or counter collection. Morocco's general rule should therefore not be turned into a systematic printing requirement in Marrakech.

The small bag included in fares measures no more than 40 × 30 × 20 cm and fits under the seat. 'Priority & 2 Cabin Bags' adds a 10 kg cabin suitcase up to 55 × 40 × 20 cm. A '10kg Check-in Bag', by contrast, is hold baggage: it must be handed in at the counter before checks. Other hold allowances are offered depending on the purchase. Check the exact wording, then weigh and measure your bags; a non-compliant bag may incur a surcharge or be refused.

Request airport assistance when booking; Ryanair allows it to be pre-booked online up to 48 hours before departure. Specify needs and mobility equipment characteristics rather than waiting until boarding. For a booking difficulty, use the official help centre, its chat or country-specific contact details. Prepare the booking reference and details exactly as they appear. An address found in a third-party directory is no guarantee of reaching the airline.
