KLM in Marrakech: booking, check-in and baggage
For a trip to Marrakech purchased from KLM, My Trip is the starting point: check the segments, stops and operating airline before preparing your baggage. A KLM booking may include a partner flight; do not therefore automatically apply KLM procedures to the whole journey.
Booking: compare the services actually included
KLM's management pages provide access to travel information and extra options. Depending on ticket conditions, eligible bookings can be changed in My Trip. Check the selected fare and included baggage before purchase, then reread this information after a change. Basic, Light, Standard and Flex do not have the same allowance: this difference may matter more than the initial price difference for a holiday with a suitcase.

KLM states that online check-in opens 30 hours before departure, with a 24-hour exception for flights departing from or arriving in the United States. For a partner other than KLM or Air France, check-in on KLM's website is not always possible, even if KLM sold the ticket. Follow your booking's and actual carrier's instructions rather than applying a general deadline to every segment.

After check-in, the pass can be retrieved in the app, My Trip or by email, then printed if desired. KLM states that a passport or other document check may result in only a check-in confirmation being issued. In that case, go to the airport counter to receive the actual boarding pass. In Marrakech, therefore keep your documents available and follow any personal instructions before heading to the checks.

In Economy Basic, KLM includes a small bag no larger than 40 × 30 × 15 cm; a cabin suitcase is an option. Light, Standard and Flex also include a suitcase no larger than 55 × 35 × 25 cm, with a combined cabin weight limit of 12 kg. For hold baggage, Basic and Light do not include a suitcase; Standard and Flex normally include one piece up to 23 kg and 158 cm in total.
