Iberia in Marrakech: booking, check-in and baggage
To reach Marrakech with an Iberia ticket, check the itinerary and the statement identifying who operates each flight. Iberia, Iberia Express, Iberia Regional Air Nostrum and partners should not be confused. This distinction is particularly useful for knowing where to check in and how your cabin suitcase will be handled.

Iberia booking management lets you check schedules, find the ticket number, add contact details, choose a seat and buy extra baggage. Date or flight changes depend on the purchased fare. Compare the total cost of the option that suits you rather than just the advertised starting price. Also check outbound and return services separately; an extra selected for one journey is not necessarily added to the other.

For destinations outside the Schengen area, Iberia opens online check-in 24 hours before departure. This rule applies to travel to Morocco, even if some domestic or Schengen routes allow earlier access. When departing from Morocco, Iberia requires you to visit the counter before security, including after online check-in. Download or print the available pass, then allow time for this check in Marrakech. Each flight or segment requires its own boarding pass.

In Economy on the relevant Iberia group flights, the published allowance includes a bag up to 10 kg, limited to 56 × 40 × 25 cm, plus a personal item up to 30 × 40 × 15 cm. On Iberia Regional Air Nostrum, the 10 kg suitcase is collected at the aircraft door to travel in the hold and returned at the same place on arrival. Keep essentials in your small bag. On another carrier, follow its own limits.

The number of hold suitcases depends on the ticket allowance. Iberia's standard reference is 23 kg and 158 cm in total, including handles, pockets and wheels; this does not mean a piece is included in every fare.
