Binter Canarias in Marrakech

Binter has rules worth checking before departing from Marrakech, particularly for check-in and cabin differences between its aircraft. Older documents describing a hold suitcase as always included should not replace the conditions of your current booking.

Choose a fare and find your booking

Binter distinguishes Basic, Plus and FlexiPlus among its non-inter-island domestic and international fares. The comparison shows different hold baggage and seating benefits. Before paying, check the fare applicable to the Marrakech route and each connection; conditions for an inter-island flight are not automatically those of the international journey. To manage the ticket, keep the booking locator and surname, or use your BinterMás account.

Check-in: do not assume online service is available at RAK

The official online check-in page currently restricts the service to Canary Islands inter-island flights, eligible Spanish domestic flights and international services to Portugal. It does not list Marrakech among eligible airports or routes. For a departure from RAK, therefore prepare to use the counter and confirm your flight's deadline with Binter. The promise of check-in from seven days before departure applies to eligible flights; it should not be applied to every Binter ticket.

Cabin baggage according to aircraft

Binter publishes an 8 kg hand baggage limit with different dimensions: 45 × 35 × 25 cm on ATR aircraft and 52 × 40 × 25 cm on Embraer aircraft. For a journey combining both fleets, the airline specifies how a bag accepted for the Embraer is handled if it cannot fit in the ATR. Check the aircraft type and keep necessary items accessible if the suitcase must be handed over at the aircraft steps. Limited overhead space may also mean it is carried in the hold.

Hold baggage, assistance and contacts

The hold allowance depends on the fare and route; excess baggage is also subject to available space. Check the ticket rather than inferring an allowance from an old brochure. For assistance, Binter recommends notifying it of your needs at least 48 hours before departure, during booking or through its official channels. Specify whether you can use stairs and whether you are carrying your own wheelchair. The Contact Binter page distinguishes booking questions, complaints and baggage incidents, helping direct your request appropriately.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the seven-day check-in rule for a departure from Marrakech?

Do not assume so: the list of flights eligible for online service does not mention Marrakech. Ask Binter to confirm your flight's procedure and allow for the counter.
